Silvestr Tkáč

Co-founder & Hardware Lead

Silvestr Tkáč is a co-founder of Make3D in The Gambia, where he focused on socially responsible 3D printing and capacity building of schools, companies and NGOs through international projects funded by EU, ITC, UNDP and others. His company implemented several projects in collaboration with UNESCO and MRCG. His work has supported local innovation and manufacturing in resource-constrained settings.

He later joined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as a Technical Lead, spearheading the integration of 3D printing into medical missions and field environments.

Currently, at Opium3D, Silvestr leads hardware development, contributing to a fully automated, user-friendly 3D printing platform designed for non-technical users and offline deployment in underserved regions.

Co-founder & Software Lead

Adam Ondruš is a software developer with a deep passion for innovation and connecting the digital world with physical reality. He specializes in developing complex web applications, with his primary technologies being Python, Django, and relational databases.

In his career, he has gained extensive experience with the implementation and integration of critical information systems, particularly in the healthcare sector. This experience has allowed him to understand the importance of robust, reliable, and efficient software solutions that can process and manage large volumes of data.

At Opium3D, Adam leads the software development team, focusing on creating a user-friendly platform that simplifies 3D printing for non-technical users. His goal is to make advanced manufacturing accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical background.
